Smart Entertainment provides general management and
executive producing services for theatre and live entertainment.

 

Dynamic, detailed and fun, our focus is on making your show the artistic and commercial success it deserves to be. We pride ourselves on working closely with producers and treating each show as a new adventure.

Smart Entertainment is a team of experienced general managers, led by Peter Huntley. Peter’s career encompasses general management in the West End, off-West End, UK and international touring. Since 2009, Peter has worked on over 50 major productions worldwide.

We take the business of producing seriously, but we do it with a sense of humour and a passion for great theatre. We’re experienced in developing new musicals and plays, and have worked in venues as diverse as off-West End and arenas.

We have provided general management for some of the industry’s top producers and in recent years, our team have worked with Jamie Hendry Productions, Sonia Friedman Productions, Shakespeare’s Globe, The Royal Albert Hall and The Really Useful Theatre Company. We also work closely with international producers and promoters to facilitate bringing first class productions transferring around the world.

We are currently managing the international tour of Impossible, performances by London Musical Theatre Orchestra, It Happened in Key West at Charing Cross Theatre, a season of work at Royal & Derngate, Northampton, the forthcoming UK tour of The Wind in the Willows the Musical as well as aiding the development of new plays and musicals. Smart Entertainment are also booking UK tours for The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Romeo and Juliet for Scaffold Shakespeare.
